Phoenix Residency October 6-20, 2014
“At the invitation of Phoenix Institute of Contemporary Art (phICA), I traveled from São Paulo to Phoenix, Arizona, in October, 2014, to realize an artist residency, an experience which left deep marks, a view which introduced me to a reality totally different than where I live, and the opportunity for me to make major reflections about the human existence. What resulted was the development of photographic essay: O Tempo sem Rastro (Time Without a Trace).
An imaginary narrative that deals with time, its nuances, clues, traces. To participate in this project was, certainly, a milestone in my career and life.
A convite do Phoenix Institute of Contemporary Art, viajei de São Paulo a Phoenix, Arizona, em Outubro de 2014, para a realização de uma residência artística, experiência esta que deixou marcas profundas, visto que me introduziu a uma realidade totalmente diferente da que vivo, e possibilitou grandes reflexões sobre a existência humana. O que resultou no desenvolvimento de um ensaio fotográfico: O Tempo sem Rastro. Uma narrativa imagética que trata do tempo, suas nuances, pistas, rastros. Participar deste projeto foi, certamente, um marco na minha carreira e vida.”
